Focus check problem on xPro 2

Focus check (after taking the photo, pressing rear wheel) is not working after recent update (firm 5.0).

Is anybody else having the same problem ?

I'm just wondering if the OP sorted it out. I need to update the firmware but don't want this problem........

The problem is specific to the OP. I have a x-pro2 with v5 firmware and it works properly with both the 23 f/2 and the 50 f/2.

I tested by moving the focus point to the right,right and pressing on the back wheel shows the focused area magnified.

It must be some setting that the user has set:

Focus zoom is not available in focus mode C or when AF/MF SETTING > PRE-AF is on or an option other than SINGLE POINT is selected for AF MODE.

After doing a lot of research I came across this which seems to explain everything since I tend to focus and relocate while shooting.

So definitely not software related issue

Thanks for the update. Though now you've posted that I'm amazed nobody thought of it, it certainly didn't occur to me. It really is a very obvious answer, to what you described. Once you know the answer that is.....
