Hi, I did a bunch of research and bought my gf a tz70 (if I recall) lumix when her iphone bit the dust (she had replaced it with a hu-way something or other on vacation that has a horrible camera), but she hasn't used a bit because she doesn't take the time to figure it out.

So first question: is the lumix really that tricky for a lazy camera noob to get working nicely without too much fuss? She seemed stymied with too many focus options. I must admit, I have no interest or inclination in learning how to do it either. I'm more than happy with my lumia's camera for my simple needs.

I'm leaning towards selling the lumix and her crap phone, and replacing both with a nice cam phone.
I just want something that does the basics: phone, web, gps, is of good quality, and has a great camera with a good macro. She loves close ups of flowers and such. :)

Before I dig into 100 reviews (and I'm utterly non-informed about cell phones), can anyone point me to a few great cams on phones? Cheaper ones, please. Old is fine. ;)
Thanks!

I am satisfied so far with Samsung J5 Pro. For this price, camera is not stabilized.
