Flash for A7riii - Recommendations?

I'm looking to get a flash for this camera.

I don't need something ultra powerful, that recharges in less time than it takes light to cross the room, but on the other hand don't want something very weak. Looking for something in the middle, fairly portable.

Any recommendations?

I would say go for Godox.

V350 for portability or V860II for greater power.

Both of them use Li-ION battery with fast recycle, support TTL/HSS and quite affordable.

A powerful flash is a good thing, HSS ability or high speed sync is very helpful when you wish you had it

Design wise I like my flashes to have a metal shoe.

It matters to me I bought the top end Sony. I felt it would be most reliable and I have to have a HV high voltage connection for external battery pack that does not use AA batteries.

While the non Sony brands have options I felt it was going to be a problem with my needs,

For fun I like Nissin flash or Metz. I dont have first hand with the others

Nissin i40 or i60 as someone else mentioned but I now use a Sony HVL-20m for portability which you would probably consider a weak flash.
