Errrrr, you wrote "Please share your June pics -- either shot or post processed in June, 2018. Don't be shy!"

Then you respond to your post with photos shot in May contradicting your original post! LOL

I processed a bunch of pictures from the trip today (there are over 400 pictures). I thought they were among today's batch. Oh well.

These definitely were from today's batch of processed photos:

Looks like the Minolta AF 28-105mm F3.5-4.5, a good old lens. Interesting choice with a 99ii!

Indeed I find the rendering @ my taste :)

Thank you for your kind words! Yes, the 28-105mm truly is a good old lens. It was an $80 eBay purchase. I got it to use until I'd become accustomed to full frame, intending to invest in a top quality lens when I had a better idea what my needs were. But I like the Minolta so much that I don't want the expensive lens anymore.

I did get a Sony 28-75mm f2.8 for indoor shots of family gatherings, & a used Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 because I love wide angle shots. All three lenses still cost far less than one Sony/Zeiss 24-70mm.

With the Sony SAM 28-75/2.8 you'll be able to use the OSPDAF of your A99ii. Having used it myself on A7R2 I can tell you that it's a very nice lens. Actually I will be enjoying it myself too very soon as I have just received my A99ii :)

The tamron 15-30/2.8 is a beast, you'll love it for sure.

Oh! How exciting about your new a99ii! Wishing you a long & beautiful partnership with it.
Thank you. I wanted to take it for SPA Italia track event this year but my wife is changing her job so it's compromised for this year (lots of road for us to get there :) ). So I have to check for another interesting track event or a rallye nearby... Or I try to sell her the mountains and the big animals to scout hehe.

Just a few, one posed and two candids. This is my brother in law with his kids.

Nice! I prefer the greater DOF in the last two - especially the last.

taken with the Alpha 99ii and 80-200 lens. Am amaze at this lens being 1/3 price of the 70-200. Very fast in focussing. Shot with a shoot thru umbrella with a Godox flash. Get better results than with the Sony flash.
