While browsing the web for a lens I came across a used Olympus MCON-P01 Macro Converter for $20 and bought it. I thought that for the price and size it’d be nice addition to keep in the bag when I leave the macro lens at home.
The fringing is quite bad. Read a few reviews which mentioned fringing, but wasn’t expecting it to be this bad. Most of the time I use old manual lenses, so I’m used to fixing CA and fringing, but the fringing I’m getting with the Oly 40-150mm is not always fixable with Camera Raw’s de-fringing tool.
On the bright side, I figured out that the rear diameter of the adapter is the same as 67-58mm step-down filter and 62-67mm step-up ring, so I should be able to adapt it my manual lenses.
Anyhow, since I already have it, any tips on how to get best results with it?
Anybody happy with it?
Thanks
