I have a Nikon D500 and two Metz flashes (64 & 58). I am considering buying a wireless flash trigger. Does anyone here have any experience with Metz's own wireless trigger, the WT-1?

I’m not entirely sure but the Metz trigger looks like a rebadged Cactus Pro. Don’t know for sure but it might provide some background info

The resemblance is too great for this to be something Metz developed independently. Pricewise a Pixel King kit with transmitter and two receivers is the same price as a Metz kit with a transmitter and one receiver.
Next question will be "Has anyone here experience using a Pixel King Pro with a Nikon D500 and Metz flashes?"

Yes I do have one WT-1 and the 64 Af-1 flash all from Metz.
With my D3400 I can't fire the camera with the WT-1 transceiver on. Testing it fires the flash but from the camera it's dead.
Can anyone help, please.

Metz is out of business. I replaced my expensive Metz 58 and 64 flashes with Godox flashes that have built in triggers.
