A short video clip to test the slow motion capability.

Reading the manual noticed the possibility of slow/fast motion and wanted to try it.

I think the result is satisfactory as well as c-af on video. Also i found that the FHD quality is very good indeed.

Filmed with Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II & Olympus 14-150mm II at 1920 X 1080 24P and slow motion x 0.4 with new firmware 2.0.

That looks good to me. I use my E-M1ii with 40-150 Pro for video often. I've also used the 300 f4 Pro for video. The CAF in video mode seems to me to be improved with FW2.

Thanks for the demo, John. Looks OK to me.

I'm probably just being a muppet here, but I can't find the slow/fast setting in the menus.

How do I access it please?

Thank you!

Hi

As far as I know there isn't a special button etc for slow motion. Instead on the Super Control Panel, select the movie settings section (bottom row, right of center), hit OK, then INFO and then you can set frame rate to 60. Then once the clip is recorded, slow it down in software.

Hope that helps

Chris
