I have the X-Pro-F transmitter, X-T2 and TT350 speedlight. All firmware is current for the camera, transmitter and speedlight however I cannot get HSS to work. TTL and manual functions work fine. The camera body is set at Auto FP (HSS) in the clash settings. The transmitter and flash are also showing the HSS icon enabled.

Everything works normally except HSS. I notice the flash firing but there is no illumination. It seems to be some sort of sync issue. If I point my camera at the flash as I fire it, the flash goes off but the resulting photo of the flash shows no illumination from it.

Help appreciated.

Is the TT350 a TT350-F? Does it work in HSS on-camera?

I have the TT 350 S and TT350 F the S has been updated for cross platform compatibility. Both units work fine in manual and TTL mode but do not work in HSS.

Both units will fire in HSS but the firing seems to be taking place after the exposure. I verified by taking a Photo of the flash unit and the charge indicator is still on. Camera, flash and transmitter all in HSS modes

On camera yes.

Actually, I was told by Flashpoint support that the TT350 does not do cross-brand TTL; and this bears out with my experience (my TT350-O only fires at full power in TTL when used cross-brand with my Canon gear). But HSS and power control seem to work fine for me with a TT350-O and XPro-C on a 5DMkII.

The joys of reverse-engineered gear. {facepalm) Sorry, I don't have an answer for you.

It sounds like this might be one of those situations that requires a firmware update/fix. I would send an email to Godox's support email address ([email protected]) if you don't have the Flashpoint version (and don't expect any response), and one to the Flashpoint support folks ([email protected]) if you do.

I have similar issues with my TT350-O on my GX-7 and my TT685C: works fine in low ambient, won't fire in HSS and fires out of sync in TTL in bright ambient light. Don't ask me why.

I'm not having any HSS issues with my XPro-F on my X100T and the TT685C off-camera—in fact, I can sync all the way up to 1/4000s. I am having HSS issues trying to use my XPro-F and my TT600 speedlights (stuck at 1/1000s, the normal sync speed of the X100T). I sent an email off to Flashpoint support and was told this would probably require a firmware fix. No promises they'd make one, though. :)

Thanks for the reply.

It seems that the Xpro transmitter is the culprit then. I'll fire off a email to Godox.

Thanks again.

I picked up an issue where manual works fine but TTL/HSS doesn't fire properly if the transmitter isn't seated perfectly on the camera.
