I am planning to switch from my D750 to Fuji X-H1 that finally has the IBIS that really important for me since I don't have steady hands. My question is if this X-H1 still has the Purple Grid Flare problems that other previous Fuji cameras have? Kindly give me more information before I buy this camera. Thanks so much in advance.

The purple grid flare has been mitigeated by Fuji already AFAIK with both FW upgrade and a slight difference in the way the sensor is fixed to the body

In my 19000 shoits XT2 (eraly one) life I had that only once in some studio conditions shooting my 4K TC svreen...

It will be interesting to check if IBIS has reduced ir increased the phenomenon

after 19000 shots....

.....which means that IMHO it is a non issue

I don't think so. My XT2, which is a fairly recent model, has a redesigned lens mount baffle and doesn't seem to suffer from this problem. I am sure they kept that on the XH1.

It's worth remembering that this problem was always clearly visible in the EVF, so you could just move to the side slightly to avoid it.

FWIW it's present on my X-T20, so I hope an X-H1 owner can shoot into the sun in a backlit situation to see if the grid shows up in the flare... :-|

It still seems to be an issue. You can see it above his right shoulder:

Not as strong as I experienced it with my X-T20, but that could be because of the angle...
