Hi, Managment and Owners of Maple Leaf Photography.

If you want to improve then simply provide some sort of customer service, it was such a horrible process buying from you. If I could have canceled my order I would have.🤬

Should have canceled after the first three days of issues. I spent over 2 hours on hold or trying to get you on the phone on to many occasions to mention.

I paid for overnight shipping and then at the last second after the items have shipped you tell me that sorry, it takes three days to get to you. Why have overnight shipping and charge for it if you can't deliver.

Your excuse, I'm not in the shipping department !!

So what should your staff do ? have a map from the shipping company telling them delivery times for each region :-) Have the online system linked to the shipping quote based upon the location of delivery like every other online shopping store.

You also managed to lock up the company credit card by entering incorrect information so it meant we had to get hold of the bank to get it unlocked. Then blamed us for the issue.

My recommendation to a potential customer is simple, buy somewhere else.

This is my personal opinion and based upon my experience with Maple Leaf Photography

+1.

To avoid these kind of potential issues, I went the Refurb route. Thanks for sharing though, hope your list of issues stops at this point. Cheers

Well all I can say is check this guys experience out !!!

Cheers'

Dave,

Wow. That's pretty messed up, both the camera and the chutzpah of Maple Leaf over the whole deal! Sending back the SAME broken camera, but with yet MORE damage done to it!

If you're going to buy online, buy from a reputable dealer, as most likely, a deal that's too good to be true is EXACTLY that: too good to be true!

A quick review of their prices shows that they really are not the cheapest. Compare with Henry's or Vistek and you'll do better and get proper service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THIS IS A SCAM!

- The company website is mapleleafphoto.ca

- The company address (10229 Cote de Liesse Dorval, QC H9P 1A3) is not a real one: at this address, there is a company producing health products

- The company is not registered in Quebec Enterprise list

- The company is not registered in Canada Enterprise list

- The phone number on their website (514-667-3569) is a Quebec phone number and this is very hard to get them

- The phone number associated to their bank transaction information which was given by my bank (1 347 960 6805) does not answer

I have bought from them: they told me I will receive the item soon, they have created a shipping label online and they told me they have shipped the article, which was untrue. I have confirmed with Canada Post that the item was never shipped. They are processing your credit card as soon as the order is made, not before shipping.

I have filed a claim to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and my bank.

UPDATE: The item was shipped late in the same day I have sent them a formal notice by email (in the morning).

This company makes it impossible to withdraw your money. I already terminated my business with them after An asset recovery team Againstcon.com tracked and recovered my money
