What to replace an older Eye-One Display LT Calibrator with?

I seem to have finally run out of luck with Mac OS upgrades and my i1 Display lt monitor calibrator. I have been using i1ProfilerD2LionEdition software but after upgrading to OS10.13.2 my device is not being recognized and the software claims not to be able to install on any of my drives. I have a Spyder3 Print SR printer calibrator that I use with my Epson 3800Pro. I have been thinking about a Spyder5Pro or an X-Rite ColorMunki, both 168.00 on Amazon. I am a little worried that the least expensive models will have insufficient options for display brightness and gamma. I would be interested to hear what others think about display calibrators. Thanks
