He was shooting a burst.It's an amazing photograph...perfectly timed to the tenth of a second. Anything that betters it, is doing to need to be really special.

Yes but mostly by the pilots, not the photographer.Do you really think timing the exact moment the photographer's plane would be over the 50 to coincide with the exact moment the B2 would be over the field but not obstructing our view of anything, important, and timing the start of his burst to capture this alignment of two planes moving at a combined 300 mph did not require impeccable planning, execution and skill?
