Yea I saw that one. Thanks for pointing it out.

I actually just want the bottom part. It looks like with that one the other pieces do unscrew but leave a notch sticking out.

I contacted Really Right Stuff to see when they would have a bracket available. They responded that they will likely not be producing a bracket for the X-E3.

Ugg, hope this isn't the achilles heal of a great camera.

The Hejnar Plate that I originally bought for my X100 fits my XE3 perfectly. It mounts offset and allows access to the battery/card compartment.

Congrats. I ordered mine with the same lens. I really like the balance.

I also just purchased the xf50/2 and it feels great on the E3 also. Just haven’t had a chance to get out and shoot with it yet though.

The most difficult thing for me though is removing the 18-55 as it also makes for an awesome combination with the E3. Trying to convince myself to just go out and travel for a while with only the E3, 14, 23 & the 50. Wish me luck.

This is the poor mans version of the X100F, I want ability to change lens, may get the 50mm f2.0 someday.

Thank you for „plate-idea“. Just ordered one via “bay”. Gets a little more expensive because of shipping to Europe (… and customs).

I also travel now with new X-E3 + 14 2.8 (I already had), 23 2.0 and 50 2.0, … only?
No, I also have 55-200 in my luggage, … just in case (… and may be 35 1.4 … hm!? … and …, ups?).
I decide on daily plans if I put tele zoom into camera bag/ backpack.
