I have read that adding a speed booster to a micro-four-thirds body enables you to use a full frame lens to its full capacity. Is there something similar that can go onto a Nikon APS-C body to allow a full frame capabilities? In other words, is there a speed booster that can allow me to use my 50 mm FX lens on my APS-C body and have the same crop factor as if it were on a full frame body?

No – unfortunately not.

You can use focal reducers like the Metabones Speed Booster to fit Nikon FX lenses onto thinner "mirrorless" cameras like Micro Four Thirds, Fujifilm X and Sony E-Mount. On Nikon DSLRs there's no space for the adapter, as the lens fits directly.
