As a Greek I don't find it great advertising at all. On the contrary, it just boosts the image of Rhodes to some tourists that "anyone can do anything on this island" attracting more low level tourism. During the summer we had a crime in Faliraki with tourists fighting each others. And its a big pity because Rhodes is much much more than Faliraki...

Stunts like that are why I get angry whenever people pull that excuse of "every generation got a bum rap by the older one" whenever I criticize them.

They can lay that trip all they want but there was no way, no how that older generations would ever have been so classless, trashy and disrespectful enough to do something like this and then share it publicly. Every generation had its faults and indignities (like "streaking") but this one is the absolute lowest of the low in every regard.

And more divorces = more 2nd/3rd/4th marriages. It's true that less people have full blown weddings the 2nd go around, but the whales that pay for a 50k wedding the first time will usually spend at least a half of that the second time.
