Hi everyone I have a canon 70-300mm f4-5.6 L series usm lens, which is one of the lenses that canon tele converters don't fit.Its a beautiful lens but just needed that touch extra reach out to 400mm.The canon tele converters don't fit due to the element protruding out which would damage the element on your lens.I have a canon 5d mark iv camera so was looking for a third party converter that would suit my camera and lens.I took the plunge and bought the kenko teleplus pro 300 AF 1.4X lens. This lens communicates well with the camera and the lens, auto focus is sharp and still crisp. At 420mm its at f8 and I believe because with my quality camera and lens the images are excellent.I was going to sell my lens and buy the Canon EF 70-200 mm F/2.8 IS II USM Lens with the canon x2 tele converter, which would give me the 400mm at f5.6.But that comes at a hell of a price when I already have a 300mm L series lens.Look at the images and see for yourself at 420mm at f8 you can still get great bokeh with good settings on focus points. Was lucky enough to capture my first kingfisher photo that day.Hope this helps if you have been as frustrated as I when the two canon tele converters don't fit this lens and you want that bit extra reach.
