Hello,

I'd like to ask for advice - I have an 80D with the 18-135 kit lens. I mainly do landscapes and would like to develop that. I am looking for sharp, wide lens idea to improve the shooting. How does Sigma 18-35 f1.8 do with 80D? Would I see a significant improvement, in relation to the kit lens, were I to buy it? Or maybe I should look at other lenses? I will be grateful for feedback from experienced users.

I would go with a few nice manual primes.

Btwn the Sigma and the kit lens I'd rather use the kit lens.

What part of what I said don't you get? 18-135 kit lens beats the Sigma hands down for landscape.

Are you serious?! 18-35 at f/1.8 is sharper than 18-135 at f/3.5 and with much less geometric and chromatic distortion. 18-135 is decent stabilized walk-around zoom but that's it.
