Magenta cast, Epson ET-2550

I have an Epson Ecotank 2550. It's definitely not a photo printer, but it's good enough for me.

Lately the pictures have taken on a magenta/purple cast.

Anyone have any experience with this printer that might shed some light on on it? How do I fix it...

it appears that the only problem was I was nearly out of yellow ink.

Also looking for help.

I too have an ET-2550. It still prints text normally but I have not printed a photo for several months - until today. Then, photos printed fine. Now they have the magenta cast.

I can't be positive, but ISTR a firmware update, but can't be sure.
