I am looking to get advice on what people use to shoot 2 or more people, in relation to still using single point focus or moving to something else. to get all eyes in focus. I understand using a bigger aperture such as f5.6 - 8 or around there, though what do you change in this situation?

Thanks

You need to be a bit more specific on your location/situation/lighting...

To get all eyes sharp they have to be at the same distance from the camera. Remember that depth of field is just where the subject is "sharp enough" to look sharp, but the focus plane is a plane, nothing else. If you magnify and start looking at eyelashes, then the depth of field may not be enough.

Use manual focus to get the sharpest result as you want , use aperture f/8 or more to get all in focus ( but not too much as f/22 or more as they are not as sharp as f/11 or f/9 for example ) , use a tripod to prevent shaking and blur , use the lowest iso you can use to get clearer and sharper photos , use a good lens and try not to use flash , use a high shutter sped to get sharper and less motion blur results , shoot with setting ( RAW+JPEG )
