I'd add the Closet Fanboy- One whom accuses others of being a Fanboy if they do not agree with them, yet secretly worship what they use :)

I am trying to decide which numbers I am. I am sure I am more than just 1. Anyhow, a fun read. Thanks for posting.

Long ago memories. Whebt the way of dinosaur.

Way to many words to describe the essence of fanboyism "I'm right.. the rest of you morons who disagree with me are sad sacks of sh@t and I feel sorry for you".

That should cover it.

This is from about 10-15 years ago, but still fun to read. He nails it. :-)
Ken Rockwell must be in Level 8: This level is for photographers who runs their own website so they can dole out some "not always true" drivel that sound smart enough for newbies to sponge from but other seasoned photographers who know better can see through his BS so they rightfully dismiss it as such.

"...brevity is the soul of wit..."

When I saw howany belabored categories there were, this article quickly became witless.

Very apt and comprehensive list. Detected only one error: a get it right in camera freak hardly uses ETTR.

Yes that is is a classic. I have used a link to it in posts here when the tecno babble gets a bit silly.

Rockwell also did another one that I cannot find on the photographers who try to retake the same views as Ansel Adams which was brilliant.

He did some brilliant writing before he discovered he could make money out of fake news reviews and views.

Really funny, thanks for sharing!
