Adobe Project Nimbus - Released by mistake?
1

I saw this in my Adobe Creative Cloud today together with the Lightroom update.

I don't know if I got it by mistake since it says "Internal Only".

Managed to play with it for a while and most of the features from Lightroom are available, just re-jiggled around. It seems noticeably faster than Lightroom though.

According to the introduction tooltip, it says that all photos are automatically backed up to the cloud. Not sure if I want it.

Anyone else got this as well?

To accommodate Project Nimbus, it seems my CC subscription has also been upgraded to give me 1TB of storage. Interesting.

Re: Adobe Project Nimbus - Released by mistake?

Interestingly, this showed up on my Surface 3 tablet update which runs Win10 build 1703, which I think is the "Creator's Edition", but not on my desktop running Win10 build 1607, so it must be build-specific.

The "more information" link does not work (404 Page not found), but the install is working. I suspect you're right and that the release may have been a mistake. Especially since the release comes up as version 0.9!

Nimbus was announced at the last Adobe Max Conference and there's plenty information out there if you Google it.

Looks an awful lot like the new UI for LR on iPad. Interesting.

Nimbus, from the Latin for "dark cloud" (nt)

"The fact is that relatively few photographers ever master their medium. Instead they allow the medium to master them and go on an endless squirrel cage chase from new lens to new paper to new developer to new gadget, never staying with one piece of equipment long enough to learn its full capacities, becoming lost in a maze of technical information that is of little or no use since they don't know what to do with it."

Interesting, is it still showing up for people? I don't have Lightroom installed just Photoshop and it doesn't show for me (Win10, 1703)

It's gone for me. Was interesting while it lasted though.

I think they make a mistake, just because don't appear in the Creative Cloud

like a program downloaded, but may be not in this case we will be a beta tester

will see. I start to testing little bit and I realize for now is missed the Synchronize and not

so important but the page for the help give us a 404 error

What about the 1TB? Is that still there?

I updated LR and PS last night and Nimbus was there, so I have downloaded it. Haven't had time to have a look at it yet, or see if there is extra storage. I will look later today.

Everyone who has the full CC-package has Project Felix.
