Isn't it a beauty? If I'm calculating it right, it's 40mm f/1.6 equivalent on 35mm.Images I tested so far seems really good. Fotodiox adapter.

Obligatory cat picture (sorry for that), wide open f/2.0:

I don't see strong vignetting. Does the lens cover the entire sensor or did you crop the image?

If that's the full GFX frame, the Apo 'cron has better coverage than the Otus 55:

The dimensions of the posted image as reported by Windows is 5206 x 3614. I think there was a little cropping involved.
Or resampling. The image is lot less impressive if it was cropping. Maybe the OP will let us know.

If it's cropping, it's no surprise that the lens looks great on a 5.3 um sensor. We already know it looks great on sensors with finer pitch, like the one in the a7RII. And if it's cropping, we don't get to see if there's any corner smearing.

I did try 50/2 apo with GFX and at f8, landscape distance, there is definitely quite a bit of smearing. I do like its look for portrait and street with GFX but I would not use it for landscape for sure.
