I have a Yongnuo YN-560 IV flash and a Yongnuo RF 603 II Canon flash trigger.
I have a Canon EOS M camera.
When I put the Yongnuo YN-560 IV flash on my camera and set the flash to M, I can fire the flash simply by taking a picture (working as intended).
When I have the RF 603 II mounted on the camera, and flash off camera set to RX mode, I can fire the flash by pressing the button on the RF 603 trigger button.
This tells me the trigger and flash are communicating with each other properly.
However, when I press the shutter, the trigger (on camera) won't fire the flash (off camera).
I know the hot-shoe on the camera works fine since the flash will fire when mounted on the hotshoe. And I know the trigger is communicating with the flash unit since I can fire the flash using the button on the trigger.
Just can't get the flash to fire off-camera with trigger on-camera. What could be the problem here? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
