I know this has been somewhat beaten to death if I search through the archives, but I figured I'd ask again for my specific needs.

I shoot video and am not too concerned about photos. I am looking for a wide lens that is fast (these are both fast in my books...of course the 20 more so) that I can also use on my Zhiyun Crane.

From my understanding, the 14mm has quicker auto focus, and I use auto focus on my gimbal to track my subjects...not always, but some of the time.

I also want to put it on my GX85 and use it as a pocketable camera that I take with me golfing (yes, I know it's a very specific use) to take photos of the golf courses I play.

As of right now the 14mm has been discontinued an no longer available at B&H but I can still get both new for the same price.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thank you

The 14mm, a great lens for video, just love mine and its plenty fast enough for video.

20mm is a great lens but not for video it's slow to focus. 14mm much better.

If you can stretch your budget, PL15/1.7 is much better than both. Otherwise, since you need some AF capabilities, go for the 14mm. AF on the 20/1.7 is not for the feint of heart.

the 20 is great for stills but not for video

Thanks everyone for the comments so far.

It seems the resounding favourite for video is the 14mm. So it looks like that will be it.

Also in terms of suggestions for other lenses, I'm looking for a pancake lens so these I think are the main options.
