Excellent set, particularly the third.

Great set! The second one I like the most. That said, they are all good!

Have to go and shoot some windmills myself sometime.

Gorgeous images. The first 3 are exceptional, very well done.

I believe the #2 is almost perfect. I would remove the sun because its small bright spot destroys the composition. It would be nice to have a less bright sun located closer to the most remote mill. Just my 2 cents.

As others have said, the second image is the standout.

For me, I would like to see the sky and foreground clipped, so the framing is more similar to a panorama shot. By doing so, you bring the various important elements closer - filling the frame.

I hope you don't mind the unsolicited critique. They are all beautiful, and well done. Thank you for sharing.

I am sorry for touching your image but I just wanted to visualize my and Sidekicker's suggestions. Thanks for sharing.

... or maybe this crop

The original submission is amazing, but yes, that's what I had in mind in terms of cropping. Maybe even cropping more of the sky out for an anamorphic-like framing.

Like this one?

Yep. I wish the shot was mine. I haven't been to the Netherlands in eight years. Such a fun place to experience.

thanks for the suggestions, it obviously is a subject that works great in panoramic format.

what I have in mind for the next time I'm at this location in good conditions is something different. 2:3 format but raise the lens up, so similar to this earlier shot (but with more sky and more of the tree, so all in all a composition closer to classical landscape paintings ;)

I really enjoy high quality images taken in low light and fog/mist. The third image is also my favorite. Thank you for posting !

Great photos!

Like #4 from the first series and #1 from the second most, as their colours are by far the most realistic.
