Hi guys,

I have been covering for Cycling race, triathlon and ironman, for second years in a row,

Think that learn, and I have to learn it hard, is, there is no art, no skill photographer, everything just client's will, or at least your cordinator instruction, luckily I adapt fast enough

As per my question on the title

Is there any specific agent that we need to contact id we want to cover big sport event, such as Asian Games, Olympic etc? And if you don't mind to show me some? I know this may sound selfish, but I believe everything will be back to our client to choose, unfortunately I can't show you some sample of my work (I have no copy of it, as per contract) but other non paid picture can be seen on my facebook link

Thank you in advance

Will you be at the venues just for personal satisfaction or will you capture the events for clients?. You could start out by asking your clients to provide recommendations. I did not see any stunning photos that would qualify you from your photography links.

Thank you for your reply, I plan to be at the venue for client, however, I understand my skills and specially my gears is way under minimum requirement to become dedicated pro photographer, I have much better sports picture, unfortunately can't be share, due to contract

If you are asking about credentials so you have access to shoot from where other media shoots from then the event issues those credentials. Credentials must be requested by your client. If they don't know how, the reality is you are too small a fish in the pond to get the credentials. Lots of people want to take photos at these events - just because there is a client for those photos doesn't mean the even is going to grant a credential.

Here's a link to the 2016 Olympics info page for credential information:

Thank you, I never considered my self as shark in the ocean, I am just begin to start my photography career, and thank you for the link, appreciate

As stated you will need to get your client to apply to the event organisers to get accreditation. Even then you may not be granted access as there are so many people wanting to shoot at the big events that the organisers sometime don't grant access to everyone who applies.
