Is my B+W XS-Pro UV 010M Filter fake?

I just bought B+W XS-Pro UV Haze MRC-Nano 010M Filter (72 mm) from B&H and found that it is a used one since there are many visible scratches on the ring as the picture.


I applied shadow protection to make the scratches clearer

After I found the scratches I carefully scan the filter for other noticeable flaws. Then I saw some black stains around every letters of the printings on the filter ring. It seems like some kind of low quality printings as the picture below.

From what I found I have a doubt if my filter is a fake one. I am a beginner so I am not sure if I can tell it is real or fake from looking at my photos using the filter. I read from many websites that B&H is a trusted website to buy cameras and stuffs. After googling, some people said to check the weight but no one actually mentioned how much weight is the real B+W XS-Pro UV filter for any specific size.

(FYI my 72mm XS-Pro UV weighs 31g.)

My question is:

1. Do real B+W XS-Pro UV filters have similar black stains around the letters?

2. How much weight is the real B+W XS-Pro UV filter (for any size)?

3. Is my B+W XS-Pro UV filter real or fake?

I just looked at one of my filters and mine had the black outline around the lettering. Also, those white specks (chips) may be normal as well. Was your filter in a sealed container? B&H is a highly trustworthy store. I think this is a case of if you look hard and long enough for a problem you will eventually find one. Relax and enjoy.

Fake B+W filters have white color STAMPED letters. Real one has yellow gold ENGRAVED letters,as on the picture.So,I think that one with yellow letters is genuine Schneider B+W filter.
