Hi there,

Yesterday I got the first birding trip with my new EM1ii + 300/4 + TC1.4 and focus on testing Pro Capture feature.

Here are what I got...

All images posted here were shot in OOC JPEG and cropped.

All images were captured by Pro Capture feature of EM1ii with I just hold half-pressed on the shutter button and when the bird jumping out, I pressed it fully. If it's EM1, I'll missed all of these images. :)

Well, I'm really satisfied with what EM1ii can do for me especially when compared to my current EM1 which now will be my backup only.

I'm very exciting on my birding trips from now on since I'll have much more usable bird-action images captured by Pro Capture. :)

Thanks,

I love photography

Very nice series of bird photos. It does look like the Pro Capture will be a nice addition to the tools that will be useful. I really need to get out and ply with new E-M1 Mkii.

My mark II arrives soon and I can finally go out with my birding friends and their slrs and huge lenses and come back with some bifs in focus. Your photos are encouraging.

Was Pro-captue set to 60fps? I am surprised how well the electronic shutter worked with a faster moving bird.

Wonderful action series! Great skill, for sure.

They do look heavily cropped - there is not much feather detail at all.

Wonderful photos. My camera comes tomorrow and I have the same lens combination so I am really excited there will be some real improvement in BIF abilities.
