This camera is like crack! The more you use it - the more you crave to use it again... and again... and again...
I love this unit so much. I find myself up late... long after midnight... writing Craigslist ads seeking athletes, teams, models ... anything to shoot. Action photography? Phftt... never an issue... blazingly fast 10fps... with 153points of focus - I have so many usable shots to choose from... AND I'm using one of the cheapest lens that Nikon offers!!! Night shoots?? had to laugh out loud when a fussy client shut up - mid sentence - after producing exceptional images from a sunset 'mood' shoot that transformed/migrated into a pitch black tunnel where the only available light source was from two cell phones. Cannot wait to see what is capable with a serious (f2.8) zoom -or- Prime Nikon lens.
Photography is a long time passion since the age of seven (i'm 62 at this writing)... Brownie, Instamatic, Polaroid and most recently Canon and Lumix (Panasonic/Leica) are the tools from the past that I've used in my photographic tool kit/war chest.
Nikon has been the one brand that i actively avoided - primarily because of price. In hindsight - If I had chosen to invest in Nikon from the start I may have avoided so many issues that plagued projects from days past. Just the lens investment alone would have produced some substantial savings.
From camera on to image capture - this is one amazing tool.
