Hello everybody :)

Long time lurker here at DP Review and just finally got around to posting up some shots. These were all with the Fuji X-T2 and various lenses (XF 16mm 1.4, XF 16-55mm 2.8 and Voigtlander 35mm 1.2)

Nice clean images, how did you post process them?
Thanks ROV

I just use ACR to process the RAW files. Mostly tweaks in ACR and small touch ups in PhotoShop. Nothing too heavy handed, just some dodging and burning. No sharpening applied except for "bicubic sharper" when resizing for web. I have been pleased with the output so I havent ever tried out any of the other programs. I think the key is to get as much right in the camera as possible.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice images thanks for sharing. I love the stormtrooper shots. Let's hope they have better aim than their big brothers ;)

Thanks for the shots. Very nice..... Keep on posting. But I'm confused. Since you have the Mighty 16, why do you have the brick?

Hi Aaron,

I'd be very interested in learning about how to use lenses like your Voigtlander on the Fuji. If you could be bothered to write another post with some images and any technical tips, I'd be very grateful!

Cheers,

Al

Hi Al,

I have a handful of Voigtlander lenses in Leica M Mount that I use on my Fuji camera bodies. I use an adapter that I bought from CameraQuest.com

You need to set the camera to "fire without lens" in the menu. The focus peaking system is great and super easy to confirm focus with the assist feature.

Below is a view from inside the EVF on my X-T2. The small box on the right shows a 100% view of the selected AF point. Really easy to see when your subject is in focus.

I hope this helps you out!
