Wondering if any of you know of a forum like DPReview, just for Video instead of Photo. Would be interested in finding one.

Thanks!

This forum seems quite sleepy. I think here are mostly old people.

I think you should make some more interesting points to wake up people. Videos which look like low resolution photo slide shows dont move people much. The bokeh and images in your latest video are nice but it needs something more like some motion or story.

Technically it is quite silent in video gear industry. Canon has had nothing new in years and many are waiting Panasonic and Sony new models.

The first three clips are stagant - because there was no wind. The other clips had movement going on though, at least for the most part - also about resolution, putting it up to 1080p will help.

I plan on doing something that has more of a storyline to it, just have to figure out something to do. I agree that Panasonic and Sony models are more in the spotlight, and I plan on talking about them and getting my hands on them in future videos.

I always watch with best resolution. I have spoiled my eyes with big 4k screen so the out dated and soft Canon 1080P is not inspiring me, especially in nature videos.

I shoot much nature videos like you and watch them unedited just like watching photos. I am very lazy editing videos. Once I made a nature video of ducks and and showed it to my friends but they thought it was boring. Just very good quality clips without an idea are not enough for most.
