This lens is amazing.

It's quality throughout the zoom range is so good, that it is my one-and-only daylight lens, for instance at city trips.

At the long end, dedicated tele zooms deliver better performance, but under good light, at f/8 this lens does not disappoint at all. Viewed on a 15" screen images appear "tack sharp"; no comparison to old-style super-zooms of the 2000's.

The lens has some few weak points, though:

- focus hunting under harsh lighting conditions, on my E-M10 Mk. I body

- focus ring can be a little "sticky", depending on the temperature

- vignetting is not removed on my Oly E-M10 Mk. I; unfortunately it is quite pronounced at the long end at the sweet sopt f/8

Other that that, I am time and again amazed by the image quality. The purple fringing reported in the net is a non-issue for me.

This is the third super-zoom for my Oly; 1st try was the Tamron 14-150 -- quite good image quality, but unfortunately the CA is not removed in-camera; the 2nd try was a Oly 14-150 Mk. II, which disappointed in general image quality.

Without much hope I gave the Pana a try - and I am really happy since I got it.

If my would break, I would probably buy another one!
