Printer for 717

OK, I'm now the proud owner of a 717. What printer do I get? Should I get one that can print direct from the memory stick? Can you upload shots to the PC from these printers?

First, what type of photos are you trying to print and what will they be used for, and is this a hobby or a profession and most of all how much money are you willing to spend?

Personally I just got the epson stylus 2200.

I've been shopping too. I've started to settle in on the idea of a Canon 820. It's low on cost, good quality and from what I've read, it's easy on the ink.

I don't really want the ability to print directly from the memory stick, as I would rather make improvements myself on the PC first. There just aren't too many images that can't use -some- tweaking.

I can second the recommendation for the Canon S820. I have one that replaced an Epson that was constantly suffering from streaked output, the Canon is much better.

It does a good job with prints up to 8X10.
