Hello,

I would like to copy (to photograph ) color négatives 24x36 and slides 24x36 with the macro lens Olympus macro 60mm F 2.8. the lens is capable to take macro shots up to 1/1 magnification. The problem is that I need a tube and a support for the slides and films. There are some supports for slides on Amazon but I do not find support for film. I do not want to cut these film and I would like the support to hold the film perfectly flat.

Nikon did produce such a support with a tube that could be fixed direcly on the front of the lens ... but they no longer produce this system.

If you can suggest some solution I would appreciate.

Regards

Bernard

The Nikon slide copier is still available:

In the US B&H has it in stock. One way to copy negatives is to get an unused cardboard slide mount (or cut some thin cardboard to the same size) and center the negative you want to copy in the opening. Works for a few, tedious for many. For volume copying, maybe someone can suggest something else.

Xtend-a-Slide has a strip film holder. It doubles a s a slide holder as well.

I would suggest you consider getting a Canoscan 9000F instead for higher quality and less frustration.
