So, I borrowed an E-M1 and 12-40mm Pro for the weekend under this program.

And my GAS flared up as a result, and my own E-M1 + 12-40mm Pro arrive on Thursday.

Damn :-P

Don't forget to update your Gear List when the shipment arrives! ;-)

At least you took the right treatment..

Haha! I tested the same kit weekend before last but have so far been able to contain my GAS. Not that I wasn't impressed, just that I also tested the 75mm lens and am now indecisive about which desire I will succumb to first!

...hmm, but I have just seen that it is now <£700...
The 75mm or the E-M1? The 75mm is £548, the E-M1 £683 (according to camerapricebuster)

The EM-1. I'm not sure if it will really get much lower (even with the mark 2 launch) before inventory runs dry.
The Jessops chap noted the kit I bought (E-M1+12/40mm) was marked "discontinued" so they're not expecting any more after they sell the ones they've got.

Exactly. I can't justify the stretch to the mark 2 until after a couple of years of price reductions. And I already have the 12-40mm 2.8 lens so I'm potentially after the even more scarce body only. Although I was very tempted by the 75mm and would be prepared to go used for a lens, not so much the EM-1 for which I would be worried about not having the extended warranty.

I know the feeling. I just returned a Pen-F, 17mm F1.8 and 40-150mm F2.8 to them. It was painful.
