These are all nice, but I most like this one.

Hand held.

Maybe shutter speed of about 1/960 sec.

Looks like the EXIF data is off when you roll over it with your mouse in DPR.

If anyone knows of a good EXIF editor for windows or a thread to such.....

Shot taken a couple of days ago.

I recommend you try LensTagger or ExifTools. ExifTool is command line, LensTagger is based on ExifTool but with a Windows GUI. It can operate as a plug-in for several applications, such as Lightroom. See this thread on Exif editors.

Just got this adapter and lens this morning.

After a hiccup trying to sort out how to get it fitted and recognised (menus) I just trialed it in the garden. The magnification assist in the viewfinder is wonderful; even without i'm getting keepers.

This is approx 1/1250th sec ISO 200.. guessing about f2 selected. though this lens is sharper at f2.8 onwards and super sharp f4 through to f8.

There is a very fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness.' :'!':

Nice. Love the colors and there is something very "special" in images with C/Y lenses.

I'm a fan.

Lenses ? - I do have a few - and I few I don't know I have as well :)

Thanks for you comment and for looking. I do like the look.

An adapter opens up a world of opportunities that i didn't realise before.

The Nikons I have do not lend themselves to adaption.. without an extra element In the adapter for infinity focus so didn't want to proceed that route.

I just need to govern my enthusiasm :-)

The Spiratone Minitel-S Plura-Coat 300mm f/5.6 is a very cute little mirror lens. Unlike most 300mm mirror lenses, it actually delivers pretty good image quality with almost no vignetting on a FF sensor. The catch is that focus is very critical... so, I tried using it via autofocus on my Techart Pro LM-EA7. The LM-EA7 can only autofocus it within a tiny section of the focus range, but may manually doing rough focus and letting the autofocus tweak, things work pretty well. Here are some boring shots around my yard:

Kodak Cine Ektar 102mm 2.7, using the close focus feature (and having finally worked out how to adjust the shake reduction focal length setting for lenses without electrical contacts...)

Walk around local summer landmark using Contax 28mm f2.8 C/Y lens on PRO 2.

Taught me to pay attention more to lightmeter setting.

Seafood is great, beer is cold, the sound of seagulls along with the occasional car passing over the singing bridge. Place was packed as usual.

Tried to get this shot with my AF Fuji 52mm but just couldn't get it to focus exactly on cherry tomatoes. One reason a like MF.

Another lens I saved. Friend of mine was getting rid of stuff and knew I was into cameras. That's the advantage of people knowing your a camera collector. He got rid of it 15 or so years ago. Great shape.

I believe picture was taken at aperture 2.8-4

Didn't realize exposure wheel was turned, so was somewhat disappointed. When I realized my error, took another shot later.

Following shot is using correct exposure. I think I'm going to like this lense.

A very nice lens comparable to the Nikon 75-150 Series E but smaller and lighter. Perfect for mirroless cams.

Just an Armadillo on the shoulder of the information superhighway.

I've never really been too impressed with most Canon lenses, but I just completed my 3D-printed FD-to-M adapter , so sticking one of my Canon FDn 135mm f/3.5 on the Techart Pro LM-EA7 and visiting the Lexington, KY Arboretum seemed like a good little test. The EXIF is wrong here because it would have taken too long to switch the LM-EA7 info, but I did tell my A7II IBIS to assume 135mm. Anyway, once again we have proof that there are (almost) no bad 135mm lenses... shot wide open, out-of-camera JPEG scaled down:

Love the butterfly and bee shots. Beautiful rich colors without being over saturated. Looks pretty good despite your not being a fan of Canon FD lenses.

Yeah, I have to admit to bee-ing impressed by the one above in particular... it seems much better than I recall the FDn 135mm f/3.5 testing. However, that was one of the lenses I had not really tested since I got a FF body, and it obviously does much better on FF than on APS-C. Actually, I have noticed that some of the cheaper Canon FDn lenses, for example the 50mm f/1.8, are much better on 24MP FF than on 24MP APS-C; basically, IQ is pretty even across the FF, and on APS-C it struggles to resolve well enough but it does resolve the thin bright ring on the OOF PSF making bokeh look harsher.

In sum, two lessons:
  1. A lot of 135mm lenses are very good, this included.
  2. Don't confuse APS-C and FF image qualities -- a lens can be great at either one and bad at the other.
I think it also helps that using the LM-EA7 allows the FDn 135mm f/3.5 to focus closer. This seems to be one of the 135mm lenses that has IQ hold up very well at close focus. There is also a bit of chromostereopsis helping in the above shot (red stuff in front).

Some moth and bug pics. Learning how to be patient and nail focus.
