The FZ1000 is my goto camera when I am just in the mood for a walk-a-bout. In fact, it is my all time favorite camera to shoot with at this time for everything except landscapes and detailed travel photos such as historical buildings. Not that it can't do an excellent job at those but a larger sensor camera just has more detail and more dynamic range.
That aside, the FZ1000 is my "street" camera of choice. Always ready, and quick to adjust to almost any circumstance. I do shoot RAW to get the most out of it detail wise, most of the time but will on occasion still use some JPEG's.

And a few select photos.
fixing the motorcycle while his buddies watch.
A street side art gallery. I shot a manual 3 frame bracket to capture a fuller dynamic range and then converted to HDR in Lightroom and adjusted shadow to bring out the interior.
A common street-side cantina. This is a nicer looking one.
Trike drivers stacked up waiting for customers.
A typical Filipino Farm tractor. It steers about like a bicycle with the handlebars. the engine on the front end pulls multiple duty. The entire front unit can be detached and the engine used to power irrigation pumps.
Bore trike drivers waiting on fares. Loving to ham it up for the camera.
Do check out the rest in the album.
