One thing I have found out is it's almost impossible to take bracketed exposures at any decent zoom even with a monopod...need a tripod.

All over the place as I can see it happening as it clicks off exposures....

That being said here are some shots, mostly single shots unless otherwise noted.

It was so hot even the turtles were not out!

Nice work Bill.... great color & detail. Jim

Very pleasing group of shots, Bill. The turtle and 2nd dragonfly photos looked the best to me. I see that you had to turn down the EV by 1.0 or 0.7 on some of them. As I would have expected, you're one of the few who has been able to use this camera well, right out of the box. I think it will take some time for most people to do that, as it is more complicated and tricky, than other models of its series.

I think that on that separate photo you posted, you should have shown the dragonfly to be as big as a C-130 and carrying you off to its lair.

Your dragonfly image that you labeled "Probably my best shot of the day??" was, in fact, your best shot of the day. Excellent detail!

Those are some beautiful shots Bill and I liked them a lot. You are making the RX10M3 do wonders but that's not unusual for you.

Your last photo of the snarled tree reminded me of a Rorschach test/inkblot test. I bet a psychoanalyst would love it.

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding of your son. I saw the lovely pic you took of them. I'm sure it's going to be a lovely affair and you are going to have a great time.

Nice shots for the day Bill. I lean towards liking the day lily shot, but that's because I'm ready for more color in my life after the gray PNW winter ;-). The dragonfly shot is great too.

Those turtles should watch out for the mega-dragonfly which might swoop down and take them off for a snack!

If you're referring to MFNR I agree. Unless mounted on a tripod the image always is less sharp so I gave up on it.
