After going through the setup at least 3 times, I tried some shots.

Below shot taken from balcony with 4K burst and selection after.

The second was an outdoor shot in RAW. Processed in LR.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the results.

My wife and dog on the right. Her walking friend on left.

The sharpness of the lily was better than I get from my ILC Fuji.

I'm very satisfied with the output of the camera. The complexity, not so much.

I thank you, the ladies thank you and the dogs say,

woof'.

Beautiful pictures.

Why shooting the flowers at 1/10,000 sec?

This would increase ISO and noise (as it is quite visible in uniform areas and softening associated with noise filtering on the edges)

Congratulations. I'm always at a loss with a new camera until I actually start taking pictures. From there I begin to make adjustments. I think of it as an adventure, and that makes it fun!!! Looks like your into the fun stage. Nice pictures!!!!!!

Warmest regards,

The camera was set at ia and chose the speed.

When I learn all the ins and outs of the camera I'll control the settings better.

I thought the max speed was 1/2000. I think you said I was at 1/10000 or are my eyes going.

Thanks for commenting.

Correction: the real settings were 1/400th and f3.8 per the metadata of the image.

Why the posted photo shows 1/10,000 is unknown to me. Don't believe everything you read.

Thanks, I thought it might be something like that.
