Fuji x t10 smc pentax 55mm f2 focus?

hey everyone,

i just received a very cheap and very good looking SMC Pentax 55m f2 which I was planning to use with my Fuji x-t 10. I hav experience in using 'old' lenses with my Fuji body with the use of cheap adapters. This is the first one not working. With the lens attached to the Fuji (with adapter (Pentax pk to Fuji x)) I am not able to focus, it's completely out of focus, (not only infinity). While turning the focus ring the lens is moving forward and backward. ..

am I missing something, could this be a fault lens :-/....

You can try a different Pentax lens with your adapter to see if it is adapter or lens. I use Fotodiox adapter for my Pentax lenses and had no issues with it.

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I did use another Pentax (m50mm SMC 1.4) with succes, that's why it's so strange... Think it's just a fault lense...
