ZS100 USB cable - still Panasonic proprietary?

Just a quick question - did Panasonic finally move to a micro- or mini-USB standard cable - or do they still use a Panasonic proprietary cable? I can't find out - the specs just say "USB cable" - but from past Panny purchases that always means having to use their proprietary cable (which I invariably forget to pack; although I'd have 5 micro-USB cables I bring ;-)

The ZS100 uses two standard cables, a micro-USB to USB cable and a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. Generic cables (Amazon Basic) seem to work fine with the camera. However, I've found it preferable to use wi-fi to download photos and an external charger for the cameras batteries.

How does wi-fi work for downloading to the computer?
Once you get it set up, it's very fast, or at least it is on my computer, much faster than the time that shows on the camera's screen. Once set up, it's simply a matter of selecting the wi-fi function from the camera, telling it which computer you want the photos sent to, and selecting the photos.

Only complaints I have are these (maybe someone can suggest a fix):

1. Selecting the folder on the computer to which the photos are sent is not obvious; mine all go to d:/temp3 and I haven't figured out how to change that;

2. There doesn't seem to be a way to select all or a group of the photos on the camera for transfer to the computer — you have to select each of them, one at a time, which is a PITA if you have more than a few on your camera — although once selected they all transfer at once (I think that's a problem with cable transfer, too).
