Only had a chance to try the 50L and it was a disaster. I learned that just trying the focusing was an insufficient test. With the 50L I would take a picture, the next would be completely overexposed because in Aperture Priority the shutter speed would drop to like 1/6 instead of 1/250 or 1/500 for the first shot. I had to take off the lens or turn off the camera after each shot if I wanted the exposure to be right for the next one. In other post I've been told others have had the same experience.
