I installed and I'm able to access Nik Copllection (for free) from Photoshop CS6 / 64 bit, but when I click OK to save the new immage, the whole CS6 ends up & close down. It is not possible to save any modified immage except if it is modified in BW-immage. It looks like that CS6 stops working after a minute or so ...

Any solutions for problem?

Google/Nik forum is full of questions about simmilar & other-problems with no answers ... hopeless.

I tried severel times - now it works on: sharpening & viveza. Other plug-ins do not work as I wrote in my first comment.

Under explanation of closing I can see this:

I know that this may well sound a silly question at this point but have you made absolutely sure that the NIK .8bf files that you have from the installation and are in your CS6 are indeed the 64-bit ones (32-bit of course are also available in the install)
I've installed the Collection just a day or two ago into my CS6 running on a new-ish Sony laptop in Win 10 mode and just before this post I actually tried a sample using NIK sharpen in my own CS6 and it works absolutely fine.

Its an installation problem. Try clean install and make sure you are using 64bit install.

Now I shall try to instal a 32 bit version .. report follows.
No difference
D-fine, viveza 2, sharp. pro 3 -> OK
by others (analog ef. pro 2, color ef. pro 4, silver ef. pro 2) PS closes down when process is finished.

I think that I'll die some day ..

:-(
because of souch programs ..

:-x

About all I can say is Nik works for me in both CS6 and CC. Sorry about your problems.

If your using a Mac, try opening ( running ) the software from your Application's folder rather than your downloads folder.😳

reset it to the config before the update, then try reinstall.
