Some people are a little dense. If the you can't put 2 and 2 together, I don't know what to tell you.
It could be an issue for some new math folks...

Surely Samsung owners should be past the stage of ‘are they, aren’t they’ and moved on to the stage, ‘these people have treated me very poorly’.
They are handling it like they have to handle the situation.

What remains to be seen is what is done with NX mount, I think they would sell that off and not kill it outright, but who knows. I imagine entire NX development is small relative to the profit from a single bad quarter ($4 billion profit).

If they haven't announced anything all this means is that they are delaying for whatever reason. Only 2 and 2 I can put together is that for now they have stopped.

Maybe I’m naïve, but if I have to let someone down, I tell them the truth up front and apologies for any inconvenience.

Samsung went out of camera business long time ago. For me it's more surprising that there are still folks who want to spread conspirator theories like recent Nikon-Samsung collaboration joke.

It's understandable that Samsung users are frustrated and angry, but train has moved on. Samsung lost the game and new players have emerged since (Pentax). Sony's a6300 twice as small and light camera is doing same as NX1 and even some more easily. A lot of new lenses and cameras like Sigma new APS-C and APS-H. Lot's of new Sony lenses like Batis, Loxia, even Cosina is now releasing E-mount lenses. Sigma is releasing new E-mount lenses. The picture is clear. Some companies lose, some win, some never even make it to top like Samsung. It was clear from the beginning how pitiful it's efforts were. The only good camera was nx1. However, that is not enough, not even close. If you are not moving forward - you lose. Bye-bye.

The NX mount has a throat diameter too narrow for full frame coverage and a flange depth that is a too deep by mirrorless standards. In short, the NX mount was fundamentally flawed at conception. The NX mount is just the first mirrorless mount to disappear. There will be others.

I think the last Samsung photo product was a NX-M 17mm/1.8 lens, released in July 2015. Only B&H has it, so they've got most of the stock, then Samsung pulled the plug.

It's total BS. Samsung mount is big enough for FF. I've seen smaller mounts doing FF.

And it is an awesome lens! Think a fast focusing 30mm NX(same 35mm focal length) but faster at 1.8 AND OIS! Love it and by far the best and ONLY lens needed for the mini.

Yes, it's a good lens, but I'm not gonna buy it, because I boycott all Samsung products since they discontinued their cameras.

Samsung chose a diameter of only 42mm as compared to the 46mm of the E-mount. It's too narrow for full frame.

It's worth noting that while original Leica T body reputedly used a lot of Samsung technology, Leica chose a much larger throat diameter for the T-mount, which is precisely why the mount supports full frame.

I dont mind the lack of coverage for FF, the flange distance is what kills the NX mount from the onset and it was the main reason I would not buy into it. It was a real shame because I love the way the NX1 handled, I just can't justify a long term commitment to the mount.

Leica M39 mount has a smaller throat than NX, and supports FF. There are other mounts which are even smaller than M39
