Printing a poster

My daughter needs a poster size (around 6ft on the long side) photo of herself that will be printed for a high school competition. The school is going to be doing the printing. Should I change the image size in PS to reflect that size? What boxes should I check to get the best quality? Scale Styles, Constrain Proportions, and/or Resample? Also, what about the drop down menu that includes Bicubic Automatic? What should I change that to? Using PS CS6.

well, is the school actually doing the printing (they have a large format printer) or are they sending it out to Kinko/Costco/whatever to make the print? Chances are that whoever is doing the printing will have more capability to enlarge w/o slaughtering the image (too much)
