Hey folks, just wondering if anyone has experience working with cloud storage options, if you've worked with Dropbox or Google drive for business and their claim of "as much as you need" file storage. They start at 1TB for less than 5 user accounts, so wondering if anyone is using the service and pushed their storage beyond the 1TB mark.

For photos and graphics it may be less hassle to rent server, but cloud documents are a functionality I'm wanting as well.

Thanks for any input!

just wondering if anyone is running their archives directly in the cloud and how they found either platform reacts.

I keep part of my photo collection on Dropbox. My family photos are there. My work images are at work on redundant drives.

There has been no issue at all as far as performance what is an issue is that when I access the family photos from home vis LR the images do not show edits as the edits are on the other copy of LR.

I suppose I could actually keep a copy of the catalog on Dropbox. I have a nice fast internet service so I really would not have much issue. What is problematic is the speed I get at home which is pathetic.

I am not sure that the catalog would work properly if on Dropbox as the references for image locations would be wrong.
