As i will use my new to buy camera also for video im looking forward to see shooting a video when walking with the EM-10 II , i think as far as i did read that the Olympus EM-5 II and the EM 10 II will have a better stabilization for shooting video but that the video picture quality from the Panasonic G7 or the GX8 will be better ...? , These are the 4 camera's im considering at the moment , i have 2 Panasonic lenses 12-35 and the new 14-140 f3.5 .

Any suggestion so far ...?

thx

Capturing video while walking is very difficult if one wants watchable high quality video. The pros practice and use stabilizers; there is a new crop of gimbals with three axis motors that are the best to use at the moment. However, walking requires lots of practice. Since you seem to have a GX7 and the 12-35 why don't you see what you can do with that before you decide on a new camera.

There are many videos in Youtube and Vimeo with walking clips to explore for your answer.

I havent seen the em10mii footage but I have seen some videos where professionals where walking with the em5 mark II. If you practice your walking, bent knees, low stance, etc, you can get footage that nearly looks like a steadicam did it

Feasible mostly with UWA. Try 9mm or 8mm.

Thx , but the stabilization GX7 is not that good that i can get a "glide camera" look . I did try some settings and techniques but the video,s are to shaky for me

If you need the best absolute stabilization you could try an em5 mark 2 on a handle rig. These just attach to the tripod mount and give you handles further out than the cameras grip. It helps to remove shake induced by your handles and arms. I have even seen ones where one handle would rotate to control a follow focus.

And em5 mark II in something like this would probably be incredibly stable. These are called fig rigs or halo rigs. This guy made his own diy follow focus for it too
