"Super sharp" images, how ?

Recently I stumbled upon this page about a wedding bohemian new-zealand beach wedding and I couldn't but notice how sharp and details reach the images appear to me.

They look far more sharp and with much more details than any image I ever managed to capture with my camera and I'm wondering if it's just a matter of tools (full frame reflex with very expensive lenses, tripod and remote release to avoid any shaking) or if they have been edited with some technique I don't know about.

I think its mor DOF than sharpness you are seeing in those photos. They look sharp yes but do you think its more tha brigh and glossy out of focusness that you are loving?
