Beautiful Ron could eyelashes be creases in the lids?
 
Those are all amazing IMHO. I assume all shot CIF?

Awesome nice detail, Ron! They are amazingly remarkably put together little birds, aren't they?

I'm not prone to cropping that close but I'll take a look at some of mine and maybe contribute later on.

Hi capturef22,

As I wrote elsewhere, I am going to try focusing closer (probably with the DA*300/4) to see if I can capture some head shots where I don't have to crop so much.

Maybe they are - I now see shadows from them.
