Just a head's up prior to viewing this video. Don't expect a lot of action and views of the front line folks. I shot this from my not so excellent seat at the side of the stage. I don't typically shoot video but decided to shoot this video on a spur of the moment whim at the end of Nearly Dan's set at Jazz Alley. I had just spent the entire set shooting over 1200 photos and was pretty exhausted. It was a long day with over 90 degree temps and a load of landscaping chores were done prior to attending this event.
Excuse the occasional out of focus issues, but the combination of hand holding the camera a rental lens for over 10 minutes above my head yields what you view here.
The original video was over 10 minutes long and I decided to edit it down keep it brief.
First time with the 40-150mm lens and first attempt at video with the recently acquired E-P5 so this is being posted for those of you curious to see what happens taking video with this combo in a typically lit nightclub event.
Video shooting was not allowed at this event and those who attempted shooting with their phones were quickly shutdown and not in a nice fashion I might add.
Video shot hand held with Olympus E-P5 with Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 lens.
